Maintain established masking procedures per work instructions
Ensure all masking pieces are kept clean and stored in its designated location
Assist in packaging and inspection of parts
Correct potential masking/running mistakes as directed
Stage clean parts on trays
Forward good parts to the Inspection Department
Bring quality issues to the attention of the Quality Manager or Supervisors
Maintain daily masking log
Work in a team environment by assisting other maskers and machine operators. Finish assignments in a timely manner
Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and walkways free of clutter
Performs other related duties as required

Composite Finishes Technician - Carbon Fiber - Special Projects Team
Primary Responsibilities
Inspect composite structures/ UAV (Drone) components for damage including, voids, debonds, other imperfections using visual examination. Report failures to Special Projects Team Manager.
Properly handle, mask, sand, prepare for vacuum metallization and primer/topcoat application.
Communicate quality and/or process concerns to Carbon Fiber Lead. Document all inspection findings.
Maintain clean and well organized work areas. Practice FOD control with tool handling.
Seeks opportunity to improve processes/efficiencies, provides feedback to team, and eagerly receives feedback from team. Perform other miscellaneous production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Technical training in finishing and body work is desired.
Experience in proper masking techniques, and experience with filler/ body work.
Experience in epoxy primers and polyurethane paint is desired.
Ability to follow work instructions and technical data relevant to the assigned task.
Good written and verbal English skills.
Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends depending on production needs.
Excellent team player but also capable of working independently. Ability to multitask in a high volume production environment and meet deadlines.
